This town is dead... Flee you poor fools!

The town is no more than a vast, sickening cemetery. There was nobody here last night to resist the last attack: the town gates were forced open and reduced to splinters. Spooky citadelle is no more.

Our defenses were tested last night! Some zombies used a misplaced ladder to get into the town at the northern wall. Result: 9 citizens dead. Pfff...

Everyone heard † klak2nite screaming when they were being torn apart by the zombies. Evidently nobody tried to help. Survival instinct. Will you be able to sleep at night now?

We bid a fond farewell to Bernard, the old dog that lived in the village... Bernard's incessant barking which annoyed everyone in the neighbourhood stopped for good as of last night's attack. Poor thing... The good news is that there was no loss of human life in the town to speak of.

It's good that no one died last night. A horde of almost 1200 zombies howled outside all night, but none of them managed to break through our defenses.

The town decided to hang † Mr_Skal yesterday. It took three attempts, as he had a particularly strong neck.

Nobody knows the reason for it, but it seems like † Parzival lost the plot last night. Several citizens report having seen them running around naked outside during the attack! One thing explains the other...

No losses in the ranks to report following the attack (none in town at least). "Yeah, I guess, but we're all going to die tomorrow night!" according to Dragon1008, a sceptical citizen.

A great night for some well-earned celebrations. No deaths in town resulting from the attack! A sizeable horde attacked at the northern wall.

A little clarification on the mysterious message left by † SleepyAlone: "Don't expect me for dinner tonight". He clearly decided to spend the night outside...

We had what we needed near the western quarter to keep the shuffling stiffs from getting through last night, that much is sure. Zero losses - save a few houses they hit.

Likewise: "Goodbye, boring world...", † Ako was probably thinking. Anyway, he did the zombie job and committed suicide.

The alaskan malamute which was christened Frank by someone or other was found cut in half this morning. One half was found in the well, which explains the strange-tasting rations today...

Alternatively: we have no news of our 3 brave citizens who left yesterday for the World Beyond. I think we can slowly start looting their houses.

Furthermore, horde food shortage: 230 Zombies, and not one of them got anything to eat last night, our defences held up well.

Fun fact: the 2 citizens who went into the World Beyond yesterday still have not returned. I guess we can pretty much write them off as dead by now.

With around 190 zombies at the gates last night, we could have feared the worst, but not a single one got in: good times! Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back just yet!

Forgetting how for a moment, but one of the [#] citizens missing outside last night found his way back to the town. They were seen near the southern wall ! That said, they were missing both legs and they were dead in the minutes that followed. Grim.
